In addition, you have:
- Experience in industrial construction
- Refractory work experience is a plus
- Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA safety requirements
- Focus on safe work practices, strong work ethic, good attitude
About the job As a Refractory Laborer you will be responsible for tearing out and installing refractory/brick in industrial plants across the country. Your tasks will include:
- Demolition of refractory materials
- Supporting masons with the installation of brick and refractory materials
- Welding, cutting, grinding, forming, and pouring
- Installation of refractory products using various applications including, gunning and shotcrete applications
- Operate equipment and machinery including but not limited to forklifts, man lifts, and scissor lifts.
Requirements Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10-12 hours per day
- Must be able to lift 50lb as needed
- Must be able to go up and down on ladders, steps, or other lifts as needed
- Must be able to perform various tasks in confined spaces and elevations.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing as well as pre-employment physical and background check.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, long hours and travel as required
