Senior AWS Solution Architect needs 8 years of experience architecting and implementing AWS cloud solutions.
Requirements
- AWS Certified: AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex migrations with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies and migration strategies.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (CloudFormation, Terraform) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Experience with AWS DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Health IT background is required.
- Deep understanding of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and their integration.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience with automation frameworks.
- Experience delivering IT services in support of a biomedical research environment.
- One or more of the following certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Certification, PMI Project Management Professional (PMP).
Responsibilities
- Help users conceptualize and design comprehensive GCP solutions, providing guidance on resource allocation, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cloud architecture blueprints for enterprise applications and workloads.
- Evaluate and recommend the most suitable GCP services and configurations for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Design scalable and resilient cloud solutions that meet workload owners specific requirements.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like GCP Deployment Manager and Terraform.
