We believe a strong arts program is integral to developing the whole child. Our program emphasizes art appreciation and the joy of creating and develops reasoning, intuition, problem-solving skills, and confidence.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and experience teaching ages 3-14. Preferably, applicants would have knowledge of Montessori and be experienced with integrating all varieties of art techniques into the school curriculum. Applicants must be flexible, take initiative, and be adept at applying art concepts in the natural environment, as several classes each year are conducted on our remote 80-acre campus. Comfort with hiking and camping is beneficial.
