Once fully trained here is a description of your role as a Bash DJ/MC
Duties:
- Perform as a Disc Jockey and Emcee (MC) at various events and venues - Create and maintain a lively and engaging atmosphere through music selection and mixing - Interact with guests, taking requests and announcing special events or announcements - Set up and operate DJ equipment, including sound systems, microphones, and lighting - Ensure smooth transitions between songs and maintain a seamless flow of music throughout the event - Collaborate with event organizers to understand the desired atmosphere and tailor the music accordingly - Stay up-to-date with current music trends and popular songs across different genres
Skills:
- Excellent public speaking skills to engage with the audience and make announcements - Strong communication skills to interact with guests, take requests, and understand event requirements - Customer service-oriented mindset to provide a positive experience for guests - Ability to lift heavy equipment for setup and teardown purposes - Proficient in DJ techniques such as beatmatching, mixing, and scratching - Knowledge of different music genres and ability to read the crowd to keep them engaged - Familiarity with DJ software and equipment for seamless performance - Experience in bartending or knowledge of drink mixing is a plus
