Our client is seeking a UX/UI Designer to join their team hybrid 1-2 days/week in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a unique, full-time opportunity for a junior-level designer to take ownership of the entire design process from initial research to final implementation. Our client is a nonprofit organization that recovers surplus food from businesses and distributes it to organizations serving individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Required Skills & Experience 1-2 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably with both web and mobile applications Proficiency in Figma and other relevant design software Strong portfolio showcasing both visual design and process-oriented projects. Experience with SaaS platforms and user research is highly desirable Ability to work independently as the sole designer, with a proactive approach to gathering and incorporating user feedback Experience with accessibility standards and creating inclusive designs What You Will Be Doing Design and Prototyping: Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for web, iOS, and Android platforms UX Research: Conduct user research and discovery sessions to gather insights and feedback from users.
