This role is hybrid based in Dallas, TX

Footlocker Inc is currently recruiting for an Agile Coach whose responsibility is supporting Global Technology Solutions (GTS) teams on developing deeper understanding and experience in leveraging Agile principles and practices to deliver technology products. This role will help develop other Agile Coaches as the product operating model scales across the GTS organization and design training programs to support the operating model roll out. 

The Agile Coach is responsible for building and coaching high-performance GTS teams by looking for ways to strengthen the teams’ understanding of Agile/Scrum concepts and principles. This role will apply deep subject matter expertise of these concepts and principles to help teams develop, configure, and deliver products in alignment with business strategy and outcomes. An Agile coach is a project management professi onal that helps scale Agile practices and build an understanding across a team or organization. This individual is also a personal coach for team members and has an innovation orientation, constantly seeking continuous improvements. 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in the formation of teams and provide ongoing coaching for continuous improvement.
  • Develop other Agile coaches, and Scrum Masters as part of the roll out of the product operating model across GTS to amplify impact across the organization.
  • Design training programs for teams transitioning into the product operating model and support the execution of these trainings with hands-on guidance.
  • Accompany GTS teams transitioning to the product operating model by facilitating team ceremonies and coaching on key Agile/Scrum concepts.
  • Look for ways to strengthen teams understanding of Agile / Scrum concepts and principles. ​
  • Ensure teams actions are aligned with the project goals / vision. ​
  • Ensure Scrum and Kanban practices are used and improved within and across teams​.
  • Bring transparency to Business and IT organization about development and grow trust. ​
  • Identify trade-offs between short- and long-term benefits to drive shared vision between the team and product owner​.
  • Collaborate with GTS leadership to identify key areas of opportunity and to successfully implement the new processes.
  • Foster a continuous learning environment helping teams to inspect & adapt.
  • Enable all product teams and remove impediments across area.
  • Ensure improvement of quality of outcome and efficiency of Product Teams, by driving their empowerment and maturity
  • Foster knowledge transfer across teams 
  • Responsible for continuous improvement and coaching of area team members in agile concepts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Business, or a related discipline
  • Experienced in Scrum master role (5 years minimum of experience) and in software development and/or project management delivering technical projects.
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate complex messages to wide audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence broad leadership teams using a combination of influencing techniques.
  • Several years’ experience developing and coaching other colleagues (experienced and junior)
  • Excel at facilitating, coaching, and mentoring teams, and leaders towards rapidly delivering high impact, high quality products in a sustainable manner.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated, but also a team player with a professional presence
  • Able to build a sense of trust and transparency that creates a comfortable & effective workplace.
  • Successful track record of delivering projects and further enabling teams using Scrum methodology.
  • “Roll up the sleeves” attitude and seeks to go outside comfort zone to learn.
  • Empowers others to learn and grow.

Benefits:

The annual base salary range is $115000 - $150000 / yr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
