The Crown Is Yours DraftKings is seeking a Sports Trader who combines a passion for sports with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. This role is not only about using your knowledge and passion for sports to manage in-play trading but also about quickly adapting to new technologies and market trends, ensuring that our offerings are both innovative and industry leading What you’ll do as a Sports Trader Manage, adjust, and analyse inputs to ensure accuracy and availability for market pricing, situational data, trading decisions, etc. to optimize the pricing of our live betting products. Actively monitor and manage pricing on in-play markets, while contributing to the development and optimization of these strategies. Develop and manage engaging live betting content. Identify potential market inefficiencies and utilize these insights to optimize our betting odds. Work closely with the analytics, data science, product, operations, and other trading teams to develop and implement trading strategies. What you’ll bring Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, preferably with a background in math and statistics. Knowledge of sports in at least one of the major US leagues. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong communication, teamwork abilities, and decision-making under pressure. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. Proficiency in Excel and Tableau would be beneficial.
