Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available for a contract lasting one full semester, providing essential support within a K-12 school setting. This role requires in-person presence and involves traveling to multiple rural schools located within a 4 to 81-mile radius from the base in Missoula, MT. The position is Monday through Friday and entails visiting up to 15 member school districts assigned throughout the contract period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services directly to students from preschool through 12th grade in various rural school districts.
• Assess student needs and develop individualized therapy plans that promote functional and academic success.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and outcomes in compliance with school and state regulations.
• Travel using personal vehicle between Missoula and assigned rural schools, ensuring punctuality and reliable presence.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based practice.
• Comfortable and reliable driving skills to manage daily travel between multiple locations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt treatment approaches for diverse student populations.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities for collaboration with educators and families.
• Ability to provide consistent and compassionate care within a dynamic educational environment.

Location Details: The position requires travel from the primary location in Missoula to rural sites including, but not limited to, Alberton, Arlee, Bonner, Charlo, Clinton, DeSmet, Dixon, Lolo, Potomac, St. Ignatius, Seeley Lake, Sunset, Superior, Swan Valley, and Woodman. Mileage distances vary from roughly 4 to 81 miles from Missoula.
