About the Role:
MVP Recruitment is partnering with a reputable, non-profit skilled nursing facility- supported by a respected regional non-profit—to recruit an experienced Nursing Home Administrator. The facility is known for its exceptional care, evidenced by a 5-star rating and deficiency-free survey results, and offers a broad range of clinical programs designed to enhance resident outcomes. This dynamic leadership role is ideal for a dedicated professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, resident-centered care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations in a facility with a proven track record of excellence, including a 5-star rating and deficiency-free survey results.
  • Quality & Performance Improvement: Design, implement, and sustain robust Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives to drive measurable gains in resident care.
  • Staff Management & Development: Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the facility meets or exceeds all state and federal regulatory requirements. Oversee preparation for annual surveys and manage audit responses.
  • Strategic Planning & Marketing: Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with executive leadership to develop strategies that enhance census quality and market positioning.

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Must hold a current Massachusetts Nursing Home Administrator License.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3–5+ years of progressive experience as a Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities. Strong financial and administrative acumen is essential.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of state and federal compliance requirements in a long-term care setting.
