We offer affordable prices on a wide range of college dorm essentials, from bedding and furniture to decor and space savers. Our goal is to make shopping for college dorm essentials economically efficient and enjoyable, ensuring that students find everything they need for campus life at DormCo. Beyond DormCo we also operate the fast growing brand, Coma Inducer, which makes the most plush, oversized coziest bedding comforters you could imagine. In addition to our top online brands, DormCo and Coma Inducer, we also operate Dorm Haul and Byourbed, all online stores fully entrench in online retail and Nashville TN. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Marketing/Graphic Design Lead + Customer Service position at DormCo in Madison, TN. The role involves taking the lead with marketing strategies to drive sales, providing exceptional customer service, and managing administrative and content responsibilities.

About: Marketing/Graphic Design/Content Online Stores:

  1. Website content - Online store product listings, content writing
  2. Instagram / Facebook / TikTok for DormCo.com / DormHaul.com / Byourbed.com
  3. Includes both social and paid
  4. Graphic Design - on and off line as needed
  5. Marketing is impossible without Graphic Design capabilities
  6. Other Marketing - Wherever your creativity and ideas lead!
  7. We like to work with self starters, if you have ideas for reaching high school graduates heading into college then let's try your ideas? Or if you have an idea for our Coma Inducer brand, why not?! Let's try it! Whether obvious or unique you can take the lead! This is a REAL marketing position not a sales position and not an admin role as you watch others lead marketing decisions. You are in control ... high responsibility = high reward.

About: Customer Service / Admin

  1. July/August is peak DORM Season - Plan to be all in on Customer Service / Admin
  2. Yes, during these months there are some hours for marketing, but by and large the fruits of your marketing efforts should result in the need for customer service as we handle the big increase in orders. Expect 10-20 hours per week of Overtime in July/August.
  3. Beyond July/August service or admin is minimal, averaging 1-2 hours M-F.
  4. Admin - It's a catch all, basically we are entrepreneurially spirited and your need to be able to tackle or help with whatever is needed is a critical mindset. Having a 'where can I pitch in' mentality is so very important.

As a company we like to know your interests and strengths. Each person who applies for this role is uniquely different. We want to know your God given gifts and abilities. Maybe you like writing... great we have product content writing needs. Maybe you like spreed sheets... great we can give you attention to detail tasks with numbers. Maybe you like being on camera... great we can get you to Broadway in Nashville for some TikTok filming. Point is beyond your interest in Marketing (which needs to include Graphic Design) and your interest to serve our customers, we also want to find your hidden skills and get them to use.

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Reliably a good person. It's not cheeky, but if you care, we care and we'll do everything to ensure you succeed.

  • Position: Full time - Career focus
  • Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • July/August Overtime Required 50-60 hours weekly.
  • Saturdays are a possibility once per month, and 3 times per month in July/August. We can work around your life needs.
