Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Project Management / Senior Principal Project Management to join our team within the F-35 Business Unit. This position will be onsite in Redondo Beach, California.

Essential Functions

Responsibilities

• Support the Proposal Operations team and manage F-35 Proposals from receipt of Request for Proposal (RFP) to proposal submission to the customer.
• Apply proposal planning and execution strategies to lead cross-functional teams within specific F-35 Operating Units (Production, Development, Fleet Readiness & Sustainment) to develop compliant, integrated, compelling, and on-time proposals.
• Report to the Senior Manager, Proposal Operations through the F-35 Program Integration & Operations Team. Lead proposals including major long-term Production follow-ons, Support Equipment follow-ons and growth, Development, Field Support Services, Major A/B Change Requests, and other F-35 proposals.
• Demonstrate leadership, collaboration, business analysis, communication, project management, stakeholder management, change management, risk management, capture, and proposal-based capabilities.
• Establish and maintain proposal metrics, derive insights for leadership, and perform other operations & integrations project management duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications (Level 3)
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years, Master's with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year in relevant areas (Supply Chain; Project Management, Sustainment, Proposals and/or Capture Efforts, Resource Planning, Accounting, Program Management, Program Scheduling, Program Cost Analysis, Subcontracts Administration, Procurement, Business Management, or Contracts).
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Clearance in a reasonable time frame deemed by company needs.
• Basic Qualifications (Level 4)
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8 years, Master's with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years in the listed areas.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Clearance in a reasonable time frame deemed by company needs.

• Preferred Qualifications
  • Subcontracts and/or procurement experience
  • Experience in Supplier Management and/or pricing and estimating
  • Familiarity with the F-35 Program
  • Control Account Management (CAM) experience
  • Adept in developing products in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
  • Aerospace & Defense Industry experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00

The above salary ranges are general guidelines. Northrop Grumman considers a range of factors when determining base salary offers, including scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus. Annual bonuses may reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
