Job Title: EM Assembler
Job Description
As an EM Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of wire harnesses and cable assemblies, mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies, and final assembly of control panels and equipment. You will also be responsible for testing and troubleshooting sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Collaboration with production technicians and engineering teams is essential to maintain high-quality standards and improve processes.
Responsibilities
Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
Perform mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies using hand and power tools.
Complete final assembly of control panels and equipment, including point-to-point wiring from wire run lists or electrical schematics.
Test and troubleshoot sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
Collaborate with production technicians and engineering to enhance processes and documentation.
Ensure work order protocols are adhered to and paperwork is accurately completed during work.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing with a focus on EM assembly.
Proficiency with hand and power tools such as crimpers, drills, taps, and torque wrenches.
Ability to interpret measurements using rulers, scales, or tape measures in both standard and metric units.
Strong communication skills in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Experience with schematics and blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in electrical panel work is beneficial.
Experience in industries like i-Automation, Security Engineered, or IPG Photonics is advantageous.
This role does not involve medical assembly, microscope work, or soldering.

Work Environment
The work environment is very clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled, and highly organized. Each employee has a designated workstation for the day. The standard working hours are 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with half-day Saturdays from 7 AM to 12:30 PM encouraged.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Whitinsville, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
