Role Description This is a full-time seasonal, on-site position for an Assistant Golf Professional at Navesink Country Club. The ideal candidate will be available roughly from late April/early May through November. The Assistant Golf Professional will assist in managing the daily golf operations, including providing golf instruction, coordinating tournaments, handling outside operations with high levels of member services, and assisting with the Golf Shop and Merchandising operations. The role involves ensuring a high standard of customer service and contributing to the overall golfing experience for members and guests on a daily basis. Responsibilities also include teaching numerous camps & clinics in a robust junior program, along with daily lessons provided to our members and guests. Compensation $1,000+ per week (Base) Opportunity for camps, clinics, and individual lessons (full retention) Staff uniform allowance (polos, outerwear, pants, shoes, belts, hats, golf clubs, etc.) Meals provided at all times while on site Option for provided housing on property Qualifications Proficiency in Golf Instruction, including providing lessons and clinics to players of all skill levels Experience in Golf Management and organizing tournaments and events Knowledge of Golf and Golf Equipment, including club repair, fittings, and merchandising Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with members and guests Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members in a professional environment Previous experience as an Assistant Golf Professional is preferred Active PGA of America Membership or working towards membership is a plus Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Marketing, Public Relations, and Writing/Editing Industries Hospitality #J-18808-Ljbffr Navesink Country Club
